Step 7 Gasket and buttons. Remove the seal around the circumference of the watch casing, as you will be handling the casing a lot and you don’t want to risk tearing the gasket. Using the tweezers, remove the circlips around every button very carefully. When the circlips are removed, you can pull the buttons off.

If the buttons are still responsive, hold the LIGHT button until it shuts off, then press it again to turn it back on. If the buttons are unresponsive, wait for the battery to drain, and then recharge it. Turn the watch back on and check the buttons for responsiveness.
I absolutely love the increased screen size and maps, but for some reason the backlight is not working correctly. I have researched and tried everything I have found in the last 2 weeks. Hooked it to Garmin Express and installed all updates, checked power settings and battery saver settings, made sure DND is off, etc. I'm at a loss.
Ever since the last couple of updates (I believe around 2 updates ago), my Fenix 6s Pro has a delay of 2-3 seconds after pressing a button, when the watchface (default one) is shown. Fenix 5 not counting steps. Fenix. For about a month my Garmin has stopped counting steps outside of activities. If I cycle the power it may count for a day or two, then stops.
